Why this matters
Every store and subscription keeps the email address you give it. Use the same one everywhere, and a leak from an old account can expose the address you still depend on.
Once your address is leaked or passed on, you can’t take back those copies. Replacing the personal address you use for all your accounts is a much bigger job.
If a leaked password also opens other accounts, each of them needs attention. A different password for every account breaks that pattern.
Verification codes, receipts, and security notices belong to an account. Keeping them with its login makes them easier to find.
Meet Vaultless
Open an account to find its email address, saved password, messages, and breach-check history.
An alias is a working email address you use instead of your personal one. Create one for each account, then read its mail in Vaultless or forward it to your existing inbox.
Pause forwarding for one alias without affecting the others. If you replace an address, update the email on the website before retiring the old alias.

Used for sign-in and mail
Your personal address isn’t used in this sign-up.
Mail arrives in Vaultless and is forwarded to your usual inbox.
Vaultless creates passwords using your two-part Master Key and the account’s saved settings. Save the login with its account, then use AutoFill when you return.
A leaked password for one account isn’t the password for another. You still need to secure the affected account.
You keep your Master Key. Vaultless cannot recover it for you.

Read mail for one account, or open Mail for messages across all your aliases. Reply, search, keep drafts, and follow deliveries found in your messages.
The verification message, receipt, and delivery update stay with the account they belong to. You can keep forwarding them to your usual inbox, too.

Enable breach monitoring to check whether your email addresses appear in known breaches. Review an exposed account and prepare a replacement address when needed.
Vaultless can prepare a new alias. You change the login email on the website before retiring the old address.
Checks send the full email address to Have I Been Pwned, never your password or Master Key. No known exposure isn’t a guarantee.
orchard@demo.invalid
Change its password on the website.
Use the new alias in the website’s account settings.
Keep access while you finish the update.

Walk through one accountCheck for yourself
Check whether your address appears in known breach records. Vaultless gives each account a separate email and password, so the same sign-in details aren’t shared across websites.
Enter your email on Have I Been Pwned. This website doesn’t collect it.
What does the result mean? Why I built Vaultless
Vaultless started as a password manager I was building for myself in Excel. So much of our information already lives in cloud services. I wanted to keep my passwords offline.
The spreadsheet became a private app. Over time, that personal project grew into Vaultless.
Get in touchThat starts with passwords on your device. Your Master Key and readable passwords stay local. Mail uses servers. Keep your Key safe and set up recovery for your account data.
